Kananaskis Village is situated in the foothills and front ranges of the Canadian Rockies, to the west of Calgary, and southeast of Banff, Alberta, Canada. Calgary is just an 85km (53 mi) one-hour drive East on Trans Canada Hwy #1. A scenic drive West on Hwy #1 for 52 km (32 mi), roughly a half an hour, takes you to Canmore, while Banff is a 70 km (43 mi) drive, about 45 minutes.
